Less Stress with Healthy Grey Matters
Project Scope: Brand strategy, copywriting, website design, collateral
Client Overview
One of the largest health problems in the industrialized world today is lack of sleep and the stress it causes. Now even more as a result of COVID-19. It affects our overall health, well-being, and state of mind. Most high-performance executives and professionals they work with, and their families, are worried, stressed, and not sleeping properly. Healthy Grey Matters wants to help them live happier, healthier, longer stress-free lives — drug-free. To feel relaxed, in control, and in the moment.
But that’s not all Steven and Brandon want to help with — they want to change how mental health is viewed and work with partners to change the way the industry works so more people can be helped.
Objectives:
To show who this service is geared to (their target market of executives and professionals) — that this is a high-cost but high-value service
To convey that they are trustworthy and credible
To be easy to update and maintain as they will need to be able to pivot easily if necessary as the business develops and grows
Brand Strategy
The competition is heavily focused on the technology of brain scans. We wanted to focus on the results behind the services. This is what their clients are really looking for — a healthier and happier life for themselves and their families. This is what was keeping them up at night and what they are ultimately buying.
The brand logo was already done so I choose complementary colours and fonts for the website. Plus, made alternate logos we needed for the homepage and favicon.
Website Design
A 1-page, scrolling site was perfect for this new company. Their biggest goal was to have credibility when someone looked them up online. But be flexible enough so that they can make updates because of COVID issues.
Secondly, they just needed a place where potential clients could easily get in touch. When you have a higher-end service like this, you need to make the sale in person — they’re unlikely to purchase something like this directly from a website.
There are other perks to a 1-page website:
It's a great way to get started online quickly — there’s less text to write and images to source
It’s easy to make updates which is great because when you’re early in your business there’s a good chance you may need to pivot at some point
It can grow with your business
We spent a couple of weeks on copywriting and finding just the right images. I supplied Steven and Braydon with a guide to help them with the first draft of their copy, then I took it from there.
We built most of the site in just one day in the new Squarespace 7.1. We checked in several times over the course of the day so they could look at the progress, make revisions and do approvals. They had a few days with the new site while I worked on the back end, then we met again to do final revisions and launch it!
Custom Graphics
In addition to brand and website images and graphics, my clients often need social media cover images, launch graphics, or images and graphics for their blog or social media.
